Robot head Solutions

Types of packaging and palletizing heads used in palletizer manipulators and palletizing robots:

  • mechanical heads,

Integrated graphic editors enable quick and intuitive definition of packaging, packages, pallets and grippers. They allow faster generation of sections, storage compartments, position systems and stacking patterns. They facilitate the creation of new palletizing schemes based on already used patterns.

Such technological software significantly facilitates and speeds up the configuration
and creation of programs related to palletizing and depalletizing products.

One of the basic production processes for automation and robotization is packaging along with palletizing products. These tasks appear in every industry and are characterized by increasing performance eliminating the possibility of manual work. We will develop dedicated palletizers, tailored to the specific product as well as customer needs, or to restrictions resulting e.g. from the spatial conditions of assembly or specific properties of the detail.
Our robotic applications are able to palletize or de-palletize products from most industries. Dedicated 5 and 4 axis palletizing robots have a positive effect on lower costs of robotization, line packing ends.
Well designed and made solutions allow for a significant increase in production efficiency by eliminating bottlenecks, which are often palletizing and packaging fields. Robots can carry out various tasks at the packaging station, e.g. picking pallets and spacers, downloading and formatting product layers on a pallet. In addition, changing the format of the pallet or changing the bulk package only requires a change in the execution program. While the conversion of a classic machine requires downtime for technical staff to modify and replace formatting elements. By using automatic packaging and palletizing, we are able to achieve the rated capacity of production machines.

Work Support Software

The elements of the basic packaging and palletizing station form:

  • Robot or multi-axis manipulator,

  • Head dedicated to work with a given product,

  • Product stacking / palletizing field,

  • Pallet magazine,

  • Spacers' magazine,

  • Security fence,

  • Product introduction system (e.g. transporter),

  • System transport of the finished product / pallet from the stand,

  • Automation, pneumatics and safety systems.

We integrate product packaging systems into collective packaging using 6-axis robots as well as Delta and Scara types. We develop individual robotic cells that are the ends of production lines, as well as complete palletization systems integrated with wrapping machines, shrink wrappers, and storage buffers.


In the current conditions, the so-called "mixes". These solutions are based on two de-palletizing and re-palletizing stations or as a ready-made solution for standard and "mix" palletizing in one packing tip.


The packaging and transport systems developed by we can deliver a system equipped with product detection systems using a vision system . In addition, we equip robotic cells with systems for automatic marking, sorting, wrapping or shrinking and buffering of products and packaging. All elements of the station are network-connected and available to the operator from a single operator panel. We also develop and implement SCADA-type software to supervise all production lines.

Packaging Automation – Our systems have included full turnkey solutions to allow for carton erecting, leaflet insertion and labelling. From primary packaging, secondary packaging through to tertiary packaging we apply serialisation methodology and our approach is standard, whether our machines are used in the Pharmaceutical, Automotive or Cosmetics Industry.

SP Automation & Robotics also developed a standard labelling system for cylindrical devices to allow for high speed and highly accurate wrapping of labels. The automated solutions have also included heat sealing and accumulation systems which allows us to provide our customers with a complete solution.
